Still trying

Although I have not been painting as much as usual over the last month I have been trying to produce some interesting work and have been experimenting. Following a trip to Arthurs Pass, and a visit to the excellent Rita Angus exhibition (at the Christchurch Art Gallery) I have painted the watercoulur “Cass” below along with a couple of pen and wash paintings.

In “Boules” I revisited the idea of just painting thje centre of interest of the pen drawing and in “Hop Kiln” I tried, less successfully to work with watercolour pencils.
