Since Christmas I have been involved with building a garage at our new home at Waikuku Beach, north of Christchurch then in moving into the house. Although our new place was affected by the September earthquake the damage has not left us uncomfortable.
However all this action has meant that I have not been painting as frequently or enthusiastically as I generally do. While I was involved in the “About Waimakariri” exhibition in February with my friend Joan Scarlet I have done very little work since. In addition the earthquake resulted in the closure of my main outlet (The Look Gallery) along with most other Christchurch galleries.
Some of the smaller works I have managed are shown below and you should watch out for further works as I ramp up my output again.
