Over the last few years I’ve really enjoyed running the occasional, one day, workshops around the South Island. My special interest in line and wash (or pen and wash) work has had groups, mostly, asking me to teach this media but I also enjoy teaching straight watercolour. At recent workshops at Oamaru for the North Otago Art Society and in Lincoln I have completed demonstration paintings. Of necessity these paintings are done very quickly and spontaneously, funnily I sometimes think that when I work confidently and fast I produce more pleasing work.
Here are a couple of these demonstration works.”The Old Olivetree, Monteriggioni” and “Charles Bridge, Prague”
